Learning C# and Looking Forward to the Internship

Oh, I wanted to write something before, but somehow I never got around to it. And now I don't even know what to write about, so I just write anything.

We're currently having lessons in C# in our retraining program. I was looking forward to it, but the lessons often drag on and the days go by very slowly. I'm interested in the subject itself and probably I even like C# better than Java. But the teacher seems generally confused and the preparation is a bit chaotic, so I often don't really follow along well or make unnecessary mistakes. But on the other hand the teacher is very nice and it's his first time teaching. I also joined a minority of three people in my class yesterday and replaced Visual Studio with Rider. I like it better now, somehow I couldn't really get to grips with Visual Studio.

As far as the internship is concerned, the four of us who were accepted into the same company already had a so-called "speed dating" with four different teams. However, one constellation was already settled from before - so there were actually only three possible matches left to be made. However, there was a problem: there was one team that nobody wanted to join. Not because of the team, but because of their focus. And so the search was on for an extra team - for me. That's because I always stated that I was especially interested in frontend development, whereas the other candidates had no fixed idea - except that it should be backend. So I ended up on an additional speed date, which wasn't that speedy. At the moment, however, I don't know who will be on which team and whether the "new" team would like me to join. I hope we'll know more soon.

And as far as JavaScript is concerned, I haven't continued with it recently. There was no time during classes, I just had to focus on learning C#. And on the weekend I decided to do some more card illustrations for my project. I'm almost finished with it, so I could continue working on the code after that. And depending on what happens with the internship, I have new things to learn. If it works out as it should, I'll be working with React and Typescript soon. At least I've already done a bit of research about the two technologies - regardless of whether I get into the relevant team or not.
