Interesting art findings
Since I don't really create anything artistic myself — whether due to lack of time, analysis paralysis, or both — I at least wanted to check out some art. I searched for artists I hadn't heard of before, looking for something that would immediately catch my eye, feel different, but still resonate with me. Here are my discoveries:
I find Yoran Brejnik's work especially interesting when viewed as a whole (such as in their ArtStation portfolio). The style is so simple and seems to be drawn with a computer mouse. Pretty bold. Many of the pieces appear to have a political nature.
I’m not usually a big fan of U.S. comic styles à la Marvel, but here, the sheer number of colors, shapes, and details in each piece really captivates me. Almost psychedelic, with so much happening in every corner of the composition.
Cool, retro, handmade charm, and overall creative. The entire gallery is remarkably consistent. If you like the sample image here, you should check out the rest.
In Philip Dearest's gallery, it's clear he uses his art to process his own problems and emotions. Possibly slightly depressing… but also relatable and very expressive.
I think these are collages, but I’m not entirely sure. Either way, this artist creates many quirky works — definitely not boring and wonderfully varied.
Another artist making strange collages, but seemingly exclusively, and with really vibrant colors! I noticed that some characters appear repeatedly.
The End.
